Dear Kerkstra Families,
We hope you had a fantastic summer and are ready for an exciting new school year! The Kerkstra staff has been working diligently to ensure our students are welcomed back to a year filled with growth, learning, and enjoyment.
We extend a warm welcome to our new families and can't wait to meet you in the upcoming weeks.

On a personal note, my wife and I are about to embark on a new chapter as empty nesters. Our oldest son, Jacob, is entering his junior year at The Illinois Mathematics & Science Academy, while our youngest, Matthew, is starting his freshman year at the Culver Military Academy. Our loyal companion, Zoe, our wonderful dog, will keep us company.
As the school year unfolds, please remember that we are here to support you. Whether you have questions, concerns, or compliments, don't hesitate to contact your child's teacher, the office, or me. Your partnership is vital in helping your child achieve their best.
